ACFA being a goal scoring warehouse

Match day five has come and gone, and it was a goal-fest from start to finish, with teams coming out in full force and scoring a total of 204 goals in just 40 games, played over a stretch of three (3) days. The players were determined to make their mark on the leader board and secure their spot in the top five list for the weekend. In the end, it was ACFA who stole the show with their outstanding performance.

Across three age groups in the competition, the top five teams to have outworked the others would be ACFA who proved to be the absolute scoring warehouse, scoring an impressive 32 goals in total. Their highest scoring game was in the u/11 age group where they scored a whopping 13 goals, leaving their opponents in awe of their attacking skills. The ACFA B team in the u/9 age group also had a strong showing, scoring 11 goals and proving that they are a team to keep an eye on.

MH Greef also had a remarkable performance, with 10 goals to show in the u/9 age group, putting them in the third place  ACFA U/17, DTS A U/9, and Kasaona FA U/9 all shared the third spot with 8 goals scored, displaying their impressive attacking skills. Finally, MH Greef U/11 team rounded out the top 5 with 7 goals scored. Their performance was impressive and showed that they are not to be underestimated.

This weekend, matches will only be played on Saturday, U/15 at Telecom field, U/17 at Jan Mohr field and U/19 together with one U/17 match at Ramblers field respectfully.
