OSS are the U/19 2022 champion

The traveling boys from the far away land have made history this weekend that cannot be forgotten. All throughout the season they have been traveling from Otjiwarongo to Windhoek to play their favorite sport.

OSS played two games in a day on every second weekend of U/19 action to ease on the expenses of travelling every weekend, throughout the season they showed to be a force to be reckon with. On the last day of action their fought tooth and nail to just make it in the top 8 and make their way to the play-offs.

On Saturday, due to unforeseen circumstances, they found themselves unable to get to the capital on time and therefore had to come straight from the bus onto the pitch and start kicking ball. They held the league leaders KFA to a goalless draw at full time in the quarter finals, forcing penalties which they won 5-3 to progress to the Semi-finals.

In the semi-finals, although not easy they finally got the better of Kasaona FA by one goal to zero to join Windhoek Gymnasium who already booked they spot earlier against Ramblers.

On Sunday morning, Kasaona FA won their way to a bronze position, and finally, it was time for the biggest game of the league, OSS vs WHK GYM. The travelers went Infront early into the game and held on until half time, Gymnasium made forceful changes halfway into the second half, but it was too little too late as OSS held onto their 1-0 lead and became champions of the 2022 respectively. Congratulations to the OSS and all the top 3 teams.
