2022 season kicks off

This ought to be a great season with the opening day being graced by unexpected showers, that however led to the Friday U/15 games being postponed due to the water-logged Ramblers field, which quickly drained in time for Saturday’s games.

The big guns are back

The U/15,17 & 19 saw their league being cut short last season due to the Covid-19 lockdown, but the boys are back and started their season with a bang scoring 63 goals over 16 games.

Weekend big wins

NPS U/15, Riverheights FA U/17, ACFA b U/17 & Kasaona FA U/19 both scored 4 goals each to impressively win their opening games of the season. DTS sent out a clear statement that they are a team to fear this season, their U/15 team defeated Kamuvare FC 5-0, while the U/17 team scored 7 goals pass Fortis FA with no reply and immediately after that 1.FSW thrashed Dama FC 6-0, but the highlight of the weekend should be the humiliation of Pioniers boys at the hands of ACFA U/19 with an embarrassing score line of 8-1 respectively.

The atmosphere and results from the weekend show that the youth really missed football and are just happy to be back on that pitch and kicking the ball again in their beloved league.

More action is expected next weekend, thus stay tuned for summarized fixtures.
